Day 9

The Nephilim:

Fallen Angels

Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told to you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in. (Isaiah 40:21-22)

...The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. (Genesis 6:2)

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days - and also afterward - when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were heroes of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)

Adam and Eve were taught by the Lord and the angels or sons of God. The Nephilim had descended upon the earth in the days of Enoch’s father Jared. Satan had succeeded in taking the proverbial title deed of the earth away from Adam but he failed in destroying the Adamic bloodline from which a Redeemer of God’s children would be born. Now in the days of Jared, we have a repeat of that act of seduction with Satan and Eve; only this time the scale is much larger. For the angels in heaven, the creation of woman was a relatively new thing. Many of them couldn’t resist the temptation of leaving their heavenly realm to interact with this new creature. So they left their celestial home to take advantage of these women from the sons of Adam and to have children with them.

The fallen third of angels in the first world couldn’t resist the temptation to rule over the new creature called man. Most of these angels were confined outside of God’s paradise in heaven. Only a relatively small percentage of them were allowed to return to heaven. After the Ice Age, in the days of Jared, a large majority of these angels in heaven again couldn’t resist the temptation to mix and mingle. This time with the new creature called woman. Now, most of these fallen angels are bound in chains and only a fraction returned with Lucifer.

One of the reasons why Lucifer was allowed to return is because of his position in heaven. The arch-angel is to give a report to the Lord of all those under the arch-angel’s responsibility. They are to tell the Almighty Father how each of those within his branch of responsibility are spending their lives. There are some angels that are responsible for hundreds, some responsible for thousands, some tens of thousands, etc. Lucifer, being the top in his particular tree of responsibility, gives the orders to those directly under him; to his generals, who maintain his Chaos in this world. He may have them thinking that he’s going to succeed because he has access to the Almighty Father’s throne. He’s a liar and as Lucifer is the top to his particular tree of responsibility, Adam was supposed to be the top of his particular tree. Adam however, because of his sin in the garden, lost that divinely appointed authority over men to Lucifer. Since Jesus, the second Adam paid the price on the cross, Lucifer is not allowed to return to the earth. Jesus now speaks to the Almighty Father on behalf of those who will believe in Him. Those who do not believe on Jesus have Lucifer to speak on their behalf to the Father Almighty.

The physical universe around us is a symbolic representation of the universe waiting for us in heaven. If God had not made mankind with intelligent reasoning, there would have been no need for decorating the heavens with celestial bodies like the sun, stars, planets and moons. He adorned the heavens with these things so we wouldn’t go insane knowing we live on a ball in a void of nothingness beyond our planet. Also, by the Almighty Father decorating the universe with celestial bodies like the moon and stars, it encourages mankind to set goals. Although the true motivation behind these kinds of goals is a deep spiritual desire to return to our Father. ‘Outer-space’ as we know it is nothing but a curtain shrouding the true reality, similar to the curtains that shrouded the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies. Yes, celestial bodies really do exist in our physical reality but this physical reality we all know and can touch is only temporary. If permitted, we could travel an eternity through the galaxies like the starship Enterprise of Star Trek fame and never reach the shores of this physical universe. But for someone not in this physical universe, it would be like walking to the other side of a room.

Extra-terrestrials do not come from another physical world. They come from right here on planet earth, only from an invisible, supernatural, multi-dimensional reality (more than our four) surrounding the planet. Appearing as aliens isn’t the only way these rebellious spirits visit the earth. They can also take on human form either as a ghostly apparition or they can appear to have matter. They choose their methods by what their witnesses can handle and by what God allows them to do. Three angels appeared to Abraham and ate with him in Genesis 18:2-6. This shows that they can take on a physical appearance and partake in physical activities such as eating. One of the many things we have to stay focused on is that we are spiritual beings in physical bodies. We are spiritual beings who can enter this world through birth and take part in God’s plan to rid heaven of all evil and wickedness. In a sports analogy, we were bench-warmers before we were born and now we’re in the game! When the game’s over, it’s over forever; never to be played again. The happy souls are those who have few regrets in how they served the Lord.

And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home - these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. (Jude :6) They’re in chains now but when the Anti-Christ comes they will be released to come along with him. Many who don’t know God’s Word will think that it’s Jesus returning, followed by a host of angels.

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (Jude 1:14-15) Of course Enoch was talking about the time when the real Jesus returns. The book of Revelation has Lucifer’s imitation of the Lord’s return: The great dragon was hurled down - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. (Revelation 12:9)

The book of Enoch which St. Jude is quoting from (Enoch 1:9), I believe was originally written by Enoch. Noah either had the original writings of his great-grandfather or a copy. In the books of Enoch existing today, Noah’s revelations from the Lord are added. Trying to convince someone to believe that these are revelations from God and that they completely coincide with the Bible, is like trying to convince someone that the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, Holy Word of God. There might be a mistranslated word in a few places, but that’s man’s error and not God’s. When God truly reveals the foundation of His plan to His children, they will be able to see where the finger of man has made an error. If someone doesn’t believe that the essence and main theme of the Bible is from God Himself, there’s no point in talking any further. A perfect, loving God does not keep His children ignorant as to what He plans to do. Enoch instructed his sons to pass this information down through the generations.

And now, my son Methuselah, all these things I am recounting to thee and writing down for thee, and I have revealed to thee everything, and given thee books concerning all these: so preserve, my son Methuselah, the books from thy father’s hand, and (see) that thou deliver them to the generations of the world. (Enoch 82:1) The Kenites don’t want you to know this. To Christians in the first century A.D., before the New Testament was compiled, the book of Enoch was a popular book. It was Holy scripture quoted by Jesus and His apostles and disciples. By the fourth century, many authorities in the church considered it heresy and its popularity practically died. A millennium later it began to resurface. To me, the book of Enoch is parallel to the story of baby Moses set adrift in the river. The essence of the book was divinely preserved until the right moment.

As I previously mentioned, in the first heaven and earth, a third of the angels fell to earth. In the second heaven and earth, a great majority of that same third that fell are the souls that come into this physical world (become incarnate) through the bloodline of Cain. At the time of Jared, a group of angels returned to earth to intervene with mankind. This group is called the Nephilim, the opposite of the elect. God allowed Satan to enter the garden of Eden but it was against His will that His heavenly children come to earth any other way except through childbirth. For these angels, the temptation was too great to become like gods in the eyes of the humans. They revealed many secrets which were forbidden for mankind to know. If they were allowed to continue, God’s plan for correcting His children would have been in vain. By saying vain, I mean that there would have been no real need for us becoming incarnate. We would grow knowing the other reality around us and thereby eliminating the doubt that prevents us from believing that nothing is impossible with the Lord. This is why we have the word supernatural, to explain the things that defy the laws of physics. Like bullies to children, the Nephilim taught men how to make weapons and they manipulated them to war against each other. They also lusted after the daughters of men and procreated hybrid humans. These offspring were literally giants among the average human. When these giants died, their spirits were not allowed in heaven. These are the exact spirits that are called the ‘evil spirits,’ that roam the earth seeking whom they might devour or possess. The spirits or souls that are created in heaven have the potential of returning to heaven but those created on earth must remain on earth forever, or until they are no more.

Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. (Enoch 8:1) Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, Armaros the resolving of enchantments (counter spells), Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. (Enoch 8:3)

These angels will return one more time to repeat the pattern on a grander scale. However, the next time they won’t be here long enough for any babies to be born. In God’s fourteen day plan this pattern happens three times on an increasing scale. First there was just a couple; Adam and Eve. Here in Noah’s time, a whole nation is wiped out. The third time will be the whole world. The deception will be peace: And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:25)

This subject of angels and extra-terrestrials seems like a pretty far-out idea to be taken seriously. The truth is that they are real. Another truth is that the Kenites, guided by evil spirits, don’t want people to know the truth. Their objective is to confuse by deception; by keeping people busy in worldly matters, in darkness and ignorance of their Father in heaven and exalting the pleasures and treasures of this temporal world, so that people will not want to bother with knowing the eternal world.

Nephilim’s Offspring

One of the purposes of the flood was to wipe out the offspring of the Nephilim who were on the earth at that time. Most of them were killed in the flood. Those missed by the flood were out of that land at the time. The half-human/half-angelic offspring were literally giants compared to the average person. The Great Pyramid in Egypt was built during the time when the Nephilim were on the earth and procreating with the daughters of men. Although it’s quite possible, I don’t believe the Nephilim participated in the building of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Reading from the ancient writings of Enoch, of which the book of Jude takes a quote from in the New Testament, there’s many references to the angels and the giants existing in the days of Noah. The angels remind me of the mythological story of Pandora’s box. Actually, this whole period of time on the earth reminds me of many stories of mythology. In fact, this was the period that inspired mythology. This however is not mythology. It actually happened in the ancient days. In knowing God’s Word compared with the stories of mythology, the true identities of many mythological names are revealed. For instance, Eve is the Pandora of mythology. These fallen angels for their own pleasure taught men things they shouldn’t have. They taught men to work with metals and how to make weapons to war against each other. They taught the women how to paint their faces and they taught sorcery. They corrupted the peace and harmony of life. The focus of mankind turned away from God and on to satisfying self above God. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)

The offspring of giants were like an experiment gone bad, but I don’t believe that the Nephilim’s motive was to experiment. It was the result of their sin, which they had committed by leaving the heavenly realm and lusting after the daughters of men. For angels who are heavenly creatures, who have full knowledge of heavenly things and take part in the corrupt activities of mortal men, there is no excuse and they are destined to be destroyed. These spawned giants were vicious with a ferocious appetite and much stronger than even the strongest humans. They’re sometimes referred to as locusts because of their enormous appetites. They devoured everything in sight, even humans and when there weren’t any humans around the giants ate other giants.

Except for a handful, the fallen angels were barred from returning to heaven and bound in chains in the depths of the earth. The souls of the Nephilim’s offspring will never see heaven. Their spirits make up the demonic realm. As I said before, they are the evil spirits that roam the earth seeking whom they might devour. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says, I will return into my house from where I came out; and when he returns, he finds it empty, swept, and garnished. Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. (Matthew 12:43-45) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour. (1Peter 5:8)

Where is the fossil record of these giants? Science probably won’t admit it, but the evidence to who the offspring of the Nephilim were, science labels as a step on the evolutionary ladder of mankind; the Neanderthal. I saw a show on the Discovery Channel October 21st, of 1996, where archeologists found a grave site with skeletons of Modern man buried with skeletons of Neanderthals. Not only that, but the grave site was located in Jerusalem, the land of the following verse:

And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them. (Numbers 13:32-33)

The verse above is why the Israelites had to wander the desert for forty years. God told them to go and take the land and they chickened out, forgetting the Lord was going to help them anyway. Caleb was the only one eager to fight. He was also the only one of those fighting men left alive (other than Joshua) and in excellent fighting shape after the forty years of wandering in the desert.

Now then, just as the Lord promised, He has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time He said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the desert. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then. (Joshua 14:10-11)

As Moses had promised, Hebron was given to Caleb, who drove from it the three sons of Anak. (Judges 1:20) Hebron used to be called Kiriath Arba after Arba, who was the greatest man among the Anakites. (Joshua 14:15)

The offspring of the Nephilim were also called Rephaites by the Hebrews.

And the territory of Og king of Bashan, one of the last of the Rephaites, who reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei. He ruled over Mount Hermon, Salecah, all of Bashan to the border of the people of Geshur and Maacah, and half of Gilead to the border of Sihon king of Heshbon. (Joshua 12:4-5)

The Emites used to live there - a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. Like the Anakites, they too were considered Rephaites, but the Moabites called them Emites. (Deuteronomy 2:10-11) That too was considered a land of the Rephaites, who used to live there; but the Ammonites called them Zamzummites. They were a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. (Deuteronomy 2:20-21)

Only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaites. His bed was made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet wide.

The whole region of Argob in Bashan used to be known as a land of Rephaites (land of giants). (Deuteronomy 3:11,13)

descendants of the Nephilim

In the famous battle between David and the giant Goliath....

A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. He was over nine feet tall. He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels (about125 lbs); on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels (about 15 lbs). (1Samuel 17:4-7)

And Ishbi-benob (his name means, sit and germinate), one of the descendants of Rapha, whose bronze spearhead weighed three hundred shekels and who was armed with a new sword, he said he would kill David. But Abishai son of Zeruiah (David’s sister; her name means, wounded) came to David’s rescue; he struck the Philistine down and killed him. Then David’s men swore to him, saying, Never again will you go out with us to battle, so that the lamp of Israel will not be extinguished.

In the course of time, there was another battle with the Philistines, at Gob. At that time Sibbecai (the mummy wrapper) the Hushathite killed Saph (which means, doorkeeper), one of the descendants of Rapha.

In another battle with the Philistines at Gob, Elhanan (God is Gracious) son of Jaare-Oregim (woods of weavers) the Bethlehemite killed Goliath the Gittite, who had a spear with a shaft like a weaver’s rod.

In still another battle, which took place a Gath, there was a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot - twenty four in all. He also was descended from Rapha. When he taunted Israel, Jonathan son of Shimeah (famous announcer), David’s brother, killed him.

These four were descendants of Rapha in Gath, and they fell at the hands of David and his men. (2Samuel 21:16-20, Similar to 1Chronicles 20:4-8)

The offspring that were missed by the flood either died in some kind of battle or slowly diluted their race with the humans. You can see from the stories around these verses that many kingdoms full of the Nephilim’s offspring were destroyed by the Israelites as ordered by God. Again, who is it that wants the place of God? It appears to me that Lucifer tried to get an advantage by incorporating a race of giants to control that land among other regions.

Noah’s Days

As it was in Noah’s time, so shall it be when the Lord returns.

The true story of Noah fits many patterns that frequently come up in the Bible. One of those patterns being, for the sake of the elect...So the Lord said, I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth - men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air - for I am grieved that I have made them. But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord. (Gen.6:7-8) He kept his Adamic bloodline pure from the corruption of the fallen angels.

With the pattern of ‘for the sake of the elect,’ we see that God will not destroy the righteous along with the wicked. Noah started building the Ark when he was 500 years old and finished 100 years later. I would bet that during the 100 years of building, those who revered the Almighty Creator left that region behind. Many of those who did leave are responsible for building a good portion of the giant stone megaliths around the world. They knew a flood was coming and figured the stone megaliths would survive the flood to warn the people to revere God or suffer the consequences.

In the book of Jasher, All the sons of men who knew the Lord, died in that year before the Lord brought evil upon them; for the Lord willed them to die, so as not to behold the evil that God would bring upon their brothers and relatives, as he had so declared to do. (Jasher 5:21) According to the book of Jasher, all the sons of men who knew the Lord, died while Noah was 480 years old; 120 years before the Great Flood. For those who did not know the Lord, after seeing all those who did, perish, had 120 years to repent. This fits the pattern of the 120 Jubilees given earlier.

The story of Noah and the generations before him is an analogy summarizing God’s whole plan; both for what has happened in the first world and what will happen at the end of this world as we know it. The pattern of God’s judgment upon the earth is played out here for the first time since the original downfall in heaven. The first flood was world wide and happened at the end of the first world which became the Ice Age. Then that world fell into darkness and darkness was upon the face of the deep (Genesis 1:2) and the flood waters froze. The flood of Noah’s time was a second flood, which was concentrated specifically in the land of the Adamites; that mythological land of Atlantis.

Flood #1 They will say, Where is this coming he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation. But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and with water. By water also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. (2Peter 3:4-6 )

Flood #2 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them away. This is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. (Matthew 24:38-39)

As in the days of Noah, the doors on the Ark of Christianity will be shut just when the flood of deception occurs prior to the return of the Lord. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her my people, (that religion of confusion which exalts the woman above God; that Babylonian the Queen of heaven masquerading as the mother of God), that you not be partakers of her sins, and that you not receive her plagues. (Revelation 18:4)

As it was in Noah’s time, so shall it be when the Lord returns.

I read an article in the Chicago Sun-Times (4-8-97) about the Hale-Bopp comet. In the article, it stated that the cycle of the comet is 4,200 years. What I’d like to know is how accurate is this figure? Is it accurate plus or minus a margin of years or is that a definite, solid fact? If it’s accurate, then the last time it passed by would have been about the time of the Tower of Babel. If it’s plus or minus a couple hundred years, then it’s possible that the Hale-Bopp comet flew over the earth before it rained the forty days and forty nights causing the Great Flood. I’ve heard one Christian minister say that it was four years before the flood of Noah’s time when it last passed by the earth.

In addition to this idea, regarding the Heaven’s Gate thirty-nine member mass suicide controversy, plus a copycat suicide a few days later, makes the comet’s significance difficult for me to ignore. I see with the cult a pattern in the likes of the Mark of the Beast and Woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there will be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. (Luke 21:23)

The Mark of the Beast is in the mind; it’s a belief in the lie. "Woe unto them that are with child" is in reference to those who have been spiritually impregnated in their mind with the lie. In the hand, the Mark of the Beast is how one physically supports the lie; whether word or deed. To them that give suck, meaning nurturing and caring for the lie, is the same as the mark in the hand. Those who get the Mark of the Beast will feel exactly what Jesus meant when He said, Woe unto them. It’s the moment Jesus returns and one realizes they have been on the side of the lie and they cry, Oh Lord please have mercy on me! And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Revelation 6:16-17)

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2Corinthians 5:6) When Jesus returns all of the elect will be absent from the body. The Heaven’s Gate cult knew that we would have to shed these containers as they put it, to find real peace but the lie they believed was that they could choose to take their own life; to care only for self. Much like Israel trusted in self when they decided they’d rather have a man for their king. When these cult members committed suicide, for them it was the return of the Lord, and woe for them because now that they have shed their containers. They know better now and probably wish they could do it over again differently. This is how it will be for them that are caught nurturing the lie when the Lord returns. The millennial reign of Jesus Christ will be a time for correcting the confused by showing them the Way to know and love the Truth so that they can have Life in the eternity.

Several months prior to the Hale-Bopp comet, I saw on CNN’s Headline News where some in the scientific community set out to find a number which best represents the universe. The number these scientists came up with was the number forty-two. With the symbology of Biblical numerics, forty-two represents Israel’s oppression and the Lord’s advent; His return and it’s the Hale-Bopp comet that’s on a 4,200 year cycle. (3 X 14 = 42) Forty represents trials, testing and tribulation and two could be a union or a division.
