In the history of ancient civilizations, generally speaking, we’re taught that Western civilization begins in Egypt. Egypt’s history predates the flood of Noah’s time and Egypt has no history of a great flood devastating their city. Archaeologists have dated the building of the Great Pyramid to have begun approximately in the year 2623 B.C., under the reign of the pharaoh Kufu, also known as Cheops. The flood of Noah’s time began in the year 2344 B.C., nearly 280 years after the building of the Great Pyramid had started.
Those of the Adamic bloodline to Abraham, not including their many children, living at the time the Great Pyramid was built: Jared (6th from Adam) was in his final years, Enoch (7th) was already no more, Methuselah and his son Lamech (8th & 9th) were still close to the middle of their lives and Noah during this time was just getting into the prime of his life at the ripe young age of 300 years old. He didn’t start building the Ark until he was 500 years old. Who knows? Maybe Noah wasn’t always in the land of the Adamites. It only took about 30 years to build the Great Pyramid. This time still gives Noah 170 years to get to his home-land, get married, settle and have kids to help him build the Ark. Some people think because of the way God talks to Job in the thirty-eighth chapter of his book, that Job could have been the architect.
E. Raymond Capt in his book The Great Pyramid Decoded writes:
"Manetho, an Egyptian priest, explains that the temples were closed during the time of the Shepherd Kings (Cory’s Ancient Fragments,pg.68). He writes, ...there came up from the East, in a strange manner, men of an ignoble race, who had the confidence to invade our country, and easily subdued it by their power, without a battle. All this nation, continues Manetho, was styled Hycsos, the Shepherd Kings. The first syllable, Hyc, according the sacred dialect denoted a king, and the sos signifies a shepherd according to the vulgar tongue; and of these is compounded the term Hycsos.
Archbishop Ussher, the noted Church historian, in his chronology, refers to the migration of the Shepherd Kings from Arabia into Egypt. From Ussher and other authorities, it seems that some Shepherd-Prince coming from Arabia or Palestine was enabled to exert such an amount of mental control over King Cheops as to induce the king to shut up the idolatrous temples and compel his subjects to labour in the erection of the Great Pyramid. Under this shepherd-prince, Egypt’s national religion was overturned in favour of the more simple worship of the One God.
Upon completion of the Great Pyramid, ancient writings of the historians say that the foreign people withdrew and their departure was the cause of great rejoicing among the Egyptians. The restraint being removed, the people returned with fresh zest to their idolatrous practices."
Many schools have different opinions as to who the architects and builders of the Great Pyramid were. By the ancient documents, it’s clear that the engineers were not Egyptians but foreign shepherd kings. Shepherd kings who had left the land destined for a deluge and set up stone witnesses, waiting for modern man to figure its mystery. These shepherd kings and their descendants are responsible not only for building the Great Pyramid, but also the giant stone megaliths of Europe, like Stonehenge for example. These people were the Stone Builders and the Great Pyramid was the masterpiece of their fathers. In Frederick Haberman’s book, Tracing Our Ancestors, he says, "From Avebury in England to Darab in Persia, and from Carnac in Brittany to Do-ring in Tibet are thousands of miles; yet the similarity of the monuments show that they were erected by one and the same people and for a special purpose."
Bonnie Gaunt, in her book called The Magnificent Numbers Of The Great Pyramid And Stonehenge, has done some fascinating research collecting data on ancient forms of measurements used not only for Stonehenge and the Great Pyramid but also Biblical structures. Her findings support the idea of a race given knowledge from the heavens and the remnant of that knowledge exists today in the English standards of measurements. I’d like to quote her from some pieces in her book:
"The only item of furniture in the entire Pyramid is the granite box in the King’s Chamber. It was undoubtedly carved from a solid block of granite and lowered into the King’s Chamber before the ceiling had been placed. This logical assumption is made on the basis of the obvious fact that the box is all of one piece, and the passages leading to this chamber are too small to permit it having been transported through them. This large, open, lidless granite box is called, by students of the Pyramid, the coffer, because of the suggestion by John Taylor that it was meant by the architect to serve as a Standard Capacity Measure for all nations of earth. Professor Smyth agreed with Taylor and showed that the capacity of the coffer, 71,250 cubic Pyramid inches, relates to the mean density of the earth in such a way as to provide a standard for weights and measures; standards surprisingly close to the old Saxon weights and measure used in ancient Britain.
The calculation is done like this: the mean density of the earth is 5.7 times heavier than an equal mass of pure water at a temperature of 68°F, and a barometric pressure of 30 Pyramid inches. The interior of the coffer can hold 71,250 cubic Pyramid inches of such pure water. Therefore, a solid block of material, having the same density as the mean density of the earth, would need to be 5.7 times smaller in cubic capacity than the capacity of the coffer to be equal in weight to the weight of the water in the coffer.
The weight of the water in the coffer, or the weight of the hypothetical solid block, is the Great Pyramid’s standard weight-measure, and has been called the Pyramid ton. By dividing one Pyramid ton by 2500 the result is the Pyramid pound; a weight remarkably similar to the old Saxon Pound.
Just as the Pyramid inch is very nearly identical to the old Saxon inch, so the Pyramid pound suggests a connection with the ancient culture of Britain.
Today the metric system has been forced upon us as an attempt to unite the peoples and nations of the world with a universal standard. I was interested to note that the eminent Pyramidologist, Morton Edgar, (in his book, The Great Pyramid, Its Scientific Features) suggested that the standards of weights and measures of the Great Pyramid will one day be the universal system of metrology."
"In the future, not now far distant we believe, when the teaching of the Lord’s Stone Witness in Egypt is more widely known and appreciated, and probably still more accurately interpreted, the earth-commensurable standards of linear measure, capacity measure, and weight measure which it presents, will be adopted by the whole human race, that all men may understand one another, speaking the same metrological language."
Earlier in the book she says:
"The modern metric system is related to none of these (ancient forms of measurement). It was contrived by man to represent one ten-millionth part of the length of a quadrant of the meridian through Paris; but it is not, in fact, commensurate with the universe and therefore is totally unsuitable for archaeological work and the measuring of antiquities.
The beautiful harmony in the numbers of all creation are, on the other hand, only possible because of the mile unit. If it had been devised by man, independent of a knowledge of the size of the sun, independent of a knowledge of the size of the earth and moon, and independent of the geometry and gematria of the Bible, then it would be the most colossal coincidence know to man!
All the evidence points away from coincidence, and toward some great magnificent plan, whose complexities and inter-relationships stagger the comprehension. We can only stand in awe - yes, even reverence - of such greatness!
We are able only to pull back the veil momentarily for a small glimpse of the vast secrets of the universe and of time. But the limitless unknown still lies beyond our view."
For those who aren’t familiar with the term Gematria, it’s the numerical equivalent of the letter in the alphabet. The Hebrews and the Greeks used the letters in the alphabet for numbers also. In the charts below I’ve picked just two of the many numbers in her research.

Silbury Hill by the way is an ancient man-made hill. Beneath all the dirt on the hill lies a pyramid-like structure dating about the same time as Stonehenge.

In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them. (Isaiah 19:19-20)
The verses above in the gematria of Hebrew adds up to 5,449, which equals the exact height of the Great Pyramid using the standard of Pyramid inches.
In these discoveries surrounding the Great Pyramid, there’s too many coincidences to be truly coincidences. Bonnie Gaunt’s research is only scratching the surface. Archaeologists have found a set of vertical lines engraved in the walls about 40 feet inside the entrance of the pyramid. What could this mean? Could these lines be a reference point to discovery? Perhaps these lines signified a time when certain stars shined their lights down its passage. Since the passage points out thirty-degrees North, what time did the North star shine directly down its passage? Sir John Herschel, a famous astronomer of England, found that in the 22nd century B.C., not only did the North star shine directly down the passage (Draconis was the North star at this time because of the earth’s 25,800 year cycle wobbling on its axis.), but the passage was also in line with the star Alcyone of Pleiades (the seven sisters) of the constellation of Taurus, the Bull. This astronomical alignment took place at noon of the spring equinox in the year 2141 B.C.
Seek Him that makes the seven stars and Orion, and turns the shadow of death into the morning, and makes the day dark with night: that calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. (Amos:5:8)
Using the standard of the Pyramid inch and equating one inch for one year and half an inch for six months etc., scientists have found that when they measured from the scored lines to the point where the entrance would have been with the original casing stones, they arrive at the date of 2623 B.C., the date when the Great Pyramid was constructed. Using that same method in the other direction, at the point where the passage is intersected by an ascending passage, they arrive at the date 1453 B.C., the date many Christian scholars studying the Pyramid believe the Israelites left Egypt with Moses. The significance of this date would be when Israel first came under the Law; after Moses had received the tablets of God's Ten Commandments. Continuing to measure up the ascending passage, right at the point where the passage opens into a giant hallway and splits again to a horizontal passage, the date April 3rd A.D. 33 comes up. The exact date our Lord Jesus hung on the cross. This was in fulfillment of the Law and from here the Church Age begins. The giant hallway comes to an end at the measured date of A.D. 1914. The significance of this date is when the world was at war for the first time and Jerusalem was delivered by the aid of the British from the oppressing Turks.
It seems evident that the giant hallway or Grand Gallery as it is called, represents the dispensation of grace or the age of God’s grace on the earth, i.e. the Church Age. The next section after the Grand Gallery is called the Ante-Chamber, which represents WWI and WWII and the final events before the millennial reign of Christ, and that’s represented by the King’s Chamber.
What’s really interesting about the area where A.D. 33 is measured is a phenomenon called the Christ Angle. Ascending up the passage, to the measured date of A.D. 33, is the point where the walls become wider in the Grand Gallery but the passage floor continues upward several inches before intersecting with the horizontal passage to the Queen’s Chamber. The floor of the Queen’s Chamber is a step down from the passage way leading to it. If one were to draw an imaginary line level with the floor of the Queen’s Chamber and intersect that line with the ascending passage, it would be the birth date of the Lord Jesus (29 Sept. 2 B.C.). Then, from the point of the birth date back along the imaginary line, vertically even to where A.D. 33 was measured, make an imaginary circle with that length keeping the birth date at the center. Where the circle intersects the ascending passage is the date Jesus was baptized (14 Oct. A.D. 29).
There are hundreds of interesting facts about the Great Pyramid and most of those facts are miraculously coincidental. I say miraculously coincidental because by what we’re taught in schools, people didn’t acquire most of this knowledge until this modern century. The absolute truth is that the Great Pyramid of Giza is the Bible in stone and that all these coincidences are not coincidences at all. The Great Pyramid and Stonehenge are prophets in stone. Its secrets await the person of Christian faith interested in geometry and working with numbers. Other than perhaps helping to build these structures, pagans had nothing to do with the original purpose these were intended for. Neither was the Great Pyramid used as a tomb for the Pharaoh Cheops as some educators may teach. It wasn’t until after the first couple pyramids when they began to use for them for tombs. With the building of each pyramid after the Great Pyramid, the quality of workmanship lessened. The latter pyramids (about 80 total) today look like piles of rubble, probably because those who gained experience building the first one had already died taking the knowledge with them. In reference to the constellation of Orion, the three largest pyramids are arranged in the pattern of the stars which make Orion’s belt. Some even believe that all the pyramids together are arranged like stars and that the Nile river is represented by the Milky Way.
As I stated earlier in this section, Egypt’s history predates the flood of Noah’s time and the Egyptians knew nothing about the flood until they were told, probably by relatives of the survivors. The pharaoh at the time of the flood was Pepi II. Just six hundred years after the flood, from Egypt’s eighteenth dynasty, in a tomb at Thebes there are pictures illustrating that the population was booming with diversity with white, black, brown and Asian people. This could only be true if the flood were localized and not world-wide and that there were already other races in Noah’s time who did not come from the same tree as Adam.
China’s history documents the flood. It happened during the reign of the Emperor Yaou and is written in the sacred book of the Shu-king. Noah is referred to as Fu-hi, born of a rainbow and he sacrificed seven kinds of animals which he had saved. The sacred book also gives the year of Fu-hi’s birth and says that the flood occurred in his six hundredth year. (Tracing Our Ancestors)
